PraxysEHS is built by safety professionals who got tired of software that does one thing well and three things badly, and decided to build the other way around.
We've sat through the demo.
You probably know how it goes. The company buys the all-in-one safety system. It's good at one thing. The other three things it was bought for end up in a spreadsheet saved next to it, because the system is “the system of record,” and the spreadsheet is where the work actually gets done.
The people behind PraxysEHS spent years on that side of the screen: running safety programs, sitting through the demos, building the workarounds. At some point we stopped waiting for the big system to get better and started building the small ones ourselves.
One tool at a time, as if it were the only one.
Every PraxysEHS tool starts with a single job, such as finding out why an incident really happened, or getting contractors to the site with the right paperwork and the right training. Then we build that tool as if no other tool existed: no features added to fill out a comparison chart, and nothing that makes you buy three things to use one.
That's the bar. If a tool can't do its one job better than the way you're doing it today, it isn't finished.

Here's something we probably shouldn't say out loud yet: tools that are each good at their job tend to get along. Put a few of them in the same room and they start finishing each other's sentences.
So no, we're not building another all-in-one system with an 18-month rollout and a training binder thicker than your safety manual. But if the tools you already trust start talking to each other someday, with no rollout at all… we won't stop them. 😉
Until then, the plan hasn't changed: one tool at a time, each one built right.

Decades on the job, quietly figuring out better ways to get the work done. Well, quietly for most of us…
PraxysEHS is built by a small group of safety, health and environmental professionals. Most of us would rather do the work than talk about it, which is why you won't find our names here. We'd rather you judge the tools than our headshots.
The exception is our partner, Blaine J. Hoffmann, MS OSHM: the one of us ambitious enough to have hosted the leading workplace safety and health podcast, The SafetyPro Podcast, since 2014. Somewhere in there he also put in three decades in EHS and wrote two books. He works with us on every tool and puts each one through its paces before it reaches you.
